Cocoa By CeCe, developed in partnership with our BPM Black-Owned Business Incubator, celebrated Mother's Day with a Private Pop Up Event at Rogers Garden in Brooklyn, New York, last Saturday afternoon. Owned by mother, wife, and entrepreneur Garnett Phillip, the Rogers Garden is a funky, convivial bar with a courtyard garden offering unique cocktails, draft beer & finger foods. Spinning the soundtrack on this beautiful, sunny day was local artist DJ Baydriana.
At the Private Pop Up Event, guests sipped craft cocktails, shopped for Mother's Day gifts, and sampled Doll Butter – the debut product from founder CeCe Olisa's new body positive beauty brand, Cocoa by CeCe.
Over the years, CeCe has built an incredible community of followers centered around building self-confidence and her mantra, 'Don't wait on your weight to live the life you want.' As a result, guests traveled from as far as Chicago to join CeCe for this intimate gathering – eager to meet CeCe, have one-on-one conversations, and experience Doll Butter. During the event, guests could smell, touch, sample, and shop the Doll Butter. Along with a small selection of some of CeCe's favorite products and home goods.
Surrounded by close friends, family, and CeCe's incredible community, the Private Pop Up was the perfect setting to celebrate the launch of Cocoa By CeCe. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this event so special.
